New York Medical College Fellowship in Endourology and Laparoscopy

Overview of Program

The fellowship program is a one-year postgraduate program designed to train urologists in advanced Laparoscopy and Endourology. This program integrates clinical and research work in stone disease, urologic oncology, reconstructive surgery, BPH, transplant donor nephrectomy, pediatric laparoscopy- endourology, robotic surgery, cryosurgery. In addition, basic science research labs are available, and the fellow will get a chance to design his/her own experiments or join an ongoing experiment and work in collaboration with the Director of Research.

The fellow will be working closely with faculty and will be an active participant in the operating room and will perform and assist in various endourologic, laparoscopic and robotic cases.

In addition, the fellow will be involved in resident and student teaching. The fellow will be encouraged to give talks and didactic sessions and will be an active participant in the weekly teaching conferences.

On campus housing

There is no on campus housing available. The fellow will be responsible to find his/her own accommodations.
