Dear Colleagues,

It is an honor to address you as the President of the Society of Urologic Robotic Surgeons (SURS). As a longtime member of the Endourological Society, I have witnessed firsthand how innovation drives progress in urology. SURS was founded on that same principle, embracing the potential of robotic surgery to revolutionize patient care. Our mission focuses on education, dissemination, and accessibility, creating a platform for urologists to learn, collaborate, and advance the field together.

We’ve made incredible strides since our inception, developing new techniques, training fellows, refining procedures, and establishing best practices for robotic urologic surgery. However, our work is far from over. We remain committed to fostering mentorship, expanding access to robotic technology, and driving innovation through research. Our current initiatives, including the SP Marathon, free access to Endourology videos, the joint Focal Therapy Society/SURS annual meeting, and the robotic theater at the AUA, are just a glimpse of what we’re doing to achieve these goals.

SURS is your society. This website is your hub for all things related to robotic urologic surgery. Whether you’re a seasoned robotic surgeon or just beginning to explore this exciting frontier, we encourage you to actively engage with our community.
